Roof repairs in Watford for slipped slates on the terraces of West Watford and Callowland, split lead, cracked ridges and leaking chimney stacks across the town. Ring 07310 120341 and Kieran comes out and gives you a free written quote, with no call-out fee.
Watford's Victorian terraces are mostly Welsh slate, and the slate outlasts the nails that hold it. When those nails rust through, slates slide out one by one. A few at a time are refixed with tingles and broken slates replaced with matched ones. When nail sickness has spread across the whole slope, Kieran tells you, because a re-slate will then cost less than years of call-outs.
Behind the terraces, the back additions meet the main roof in lead valleys and back gutters that are often decades old. When that lead splits, water lands in a back bedroom or on the stairs. On the front, shared chimney stacks lose their flaunching and pointing. Both are put right in new lead and new mortar, from a ladder where the job allows and from scaffold where it does not.
Out on the post-war estates of South Oxhey, Garston and Leavesden, the repairs are on concrete tile: slipped tiles, cracked ridge and verge mortar, and felt that has perished at the eaves. Storm damage anywhere in Watford gets an emergency call-out, 7 days a week, and the roof is made watertight before the full repair is priced.

From the roof and the loft, so the quote is for the real problem.
Clear, written and yours to think over.
A tidy finish, a 20-year guarantee on new roofs and all other work guaranteed.
Across Hertfordshire, refixing a handful of slipped slates or tiles from a ladder costs about £150 to £400. New chimney flashing runs about £400 to £900 and a new lead valley about £600 to £1,500, and scaffold adds to that where it is needed. You have Kieran's price in writing before a slate is touched.
Not always. Plenty of repairs on a two-storey house are done from a ladder and roof ladder. Chimneys, long valleys and three-storey houses need scaffold, and when they do it is in the written quote.
Yes. Kieran explains what he found and tells you straight when repairs will keep coming back. If a repair is all the roof needs, that is all you pay for.
Yes, straight. If the felt has perished and the repairs keep coming back, a new roof is the better spend, and Kieran shows you why on the roof. New roofs carry our 20-year guarantee.
From the roof and from the loft. Water runs along the felt and the timbers before it drips, so Kieran follows the wet back to where it gets in: a cracked tile, a slipped slate, a lifted flashing or a split in the felt.
